For this project, I created a WWII submarine bay diorama centered around a hero prop—a U-Boat. The diorama was meant to showcase the historical context of a submarine base during World War II, featuring detailed environmental elements and assets that were designed to complement the U-Boat as the central object in the scene. The project allowed me to demonstrate my skills in 3D modeling, texturing, and game engine integration, specifically utilizing Unreal Engine 4 to bring the diorama to life.
The objective of this diorama was to craft a highly detailed and historically accurate scene based on a submarine bay from the WWII era. The centerpiece of the scene was the U-Boat, one of the most iconic military vehicles of the war. The scene was designed to convey the sense of being inside a naval submarine base, with a focus on industrial and military architecture, such as dockyards, storage areas, and workshops. The goal was to create an immersive environment that captured both the scale and gritty realism of a wartime submarine operation.
